Zimbabwe SL-28 - Coffee of the Month Club April 2017

Not a lot of coffee comes from Zimbabwe. This coffee, which is likely organic, but doesn't carry the certifications is a single estate version. Hailing from the Salimba Estate in the Chipinga region this coffee is a mixture of Catimor and the unicorn SL-28 varieties. Roasted to just into the second cracks you can expect a chocolaty cup with a very enjoyable spicy clove notes. India Karnataka Mysore - Coffee of the Month Club April 2017

This coffee comes from the state of Karnataka, in the south of India. This is another great example of Indian coffee, although it is very different than the India Kerala Malabar we currently carry. This is a very creamy coffee, which if you close your eyes, almost takes like a mix of a chai tea and coffee latte. This is coming from my wife, who rages on chai tea, so I will take her expert opinion on it.
