Dark. Cheap. Good.
A truly delicious, full flavored, full bodied masterpiece. My new favorite coffee whether served hot or cold.
Drinking my first cup of Dark. Cheap. Good. from a French press. Very impressed, just the right amount of bold richness, clear flavors and a fantastic value. Combined with passionate owners at Layne (extraordinary customer service BTW), I will start giving all my coffee business to this new venture!
I opened my first order earlier this week and drank some with chocolate cake dessert after dinner. I liked the rich full bodied taste, similar to French roast but without the bitter dark charcoal-ish bite you sometimes get with that variety. Doesn't have the wine-like almost fruitful flavors of a pricey Italian roast, but instead offers a smooth earthy spice finish on the palate. I especially like the way the flavors linger nicely as your cup cools gradually with each sip. My mother is not as much a coffee fiend as I (we both take it black) but she loved it too.
Excellent coffee drinking with this one. The name is spot on.
Received my first Layne Coffee order. Service was excellent. The coffee was excellent. The bloom in my pour over was beautiful and the finished product was a well balanced smooth drink. Give them a try
