Guatemala WayWay

Guatemala WayWay is the perfect cold morning coffee. With notes of chocolate and fudge, it is an easy-drinking cup to start your day. It might also have the most pronounced chocolate flavor of any coffee we sell. Hailing from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala, it is a "bit under the radar" when compared to Antigua. The body can be a bit thin, so we recommend brewing it with a French Press or pour-over for best results.
Fudge, Citrus, Honey Roast: Medium/Dark Acidity: Medium Body: Light Finish: Chocolate
Country: Guatemala Region: Huehuetenango Producer: Various Variety: Bourbon and Caturra Process: Wet Mill, Sun Dried Altitude: 1,800 to 2,000 masl

Guatemala WayWay

This is our, my wife and I, first experience with Layne Coffee. Service was great and my wife was very impressed with this particular coffee...." I'm surprised that I like this as much as I do, it being a Central American origin." So, we will continue our exploring of more different coffees' from Layne!

This is WayWay awesome

Very rich coffee with notes of fudge, molasses, hint of brown sugar and citrus brightness. Great in the afternoon with a cigar. Medium bodied to me.

My brewing method for this coffee:

32 oz french press
5 Tbls beans
5 min brew

Quintessential Guatemalan Coffee

This is a phenomenal bean. Having spent an extended period in Antigua, Guatemala a few years ago, this coffee really reminds of the black coffee from cafe condessa I had every morning before language class. Balanced, medium bodied with a smooth finish. Perfect out of a French press. Slightly acidic through the aero press. Will buy again for sure.
