Layne's House Single Origin Espresso

$5.99
Single Origin Espresso's are all the rage. They are great for many of reasons, but they can also carry a hefty price tag. This is where we work our magic! After spending a copious amount of time we were able to direct source a bean that produces a perfect espresso. The best part? It didn't cost a small fortune.

Best Espresso

Shipped fast and smelled incredible upon opening the package. Brewed using a moka pot. Makes rich full bodied and velvety smooth coffee. My new favorite.

A little bitter...

I made this coffee in both French Press and Pour Over formats (yeah, I know, it is an espresso!), and it was bitter both ways. It is a good coffee, fresh, but if you are using it other than in an espresso machine, this might not be the best choice. This is the first time I have had this result using an espresso bean in these ways.

Nice

I'm using this for a Bialetti stovetop espresso. Since I don't drink it daily I appreciate the tight seal on the bag to keep it as fresh as possible for a while. The brew is a fine smooth "espresso" with strength but little bite. Definitely give it a try if you're a stovetop fan.

I've been brewing this blend in my french press and it's awesome.
